Notre seul métier : la réparation
De nombreuses start-ups se sont créées ces dernières années dans le secteur de la réparation. Les réparateurs indépendants s’inquiètent de la récupération d’un discours sur leur métier. Acteurs de l’ubérisation de l’économie, ces start-ups se positionnent, sans apporter de solution innovante, sur un secteur déjà fragilisé.

Réparer est notre métier depuis des décennies, nous intervenons sur des centaines de milliers d’appareils par an. Une réparation professionnelle avec ou sans garantie qui respecte rigoureusement des agréments constructeurs.
Nous sommes des PME et des TPE familiales, nos marges faibles sont équivalentes à celles de l’artisanat en France. Contrairement au fond d’investissements qui soutient ces start-ups, nous ne percevons pas de dividendes. Nous n’avons pas non plus de business model offensif ni de stratégie de marketing agressif, nous sommes le tissu économique des territoires.
C’est pourquoi notre métier ne fait pas rêver, il est difficile et se transmet souvent au sein de familles de passionnés. Peu ou pas d’écoles pour former à un savoir-faire qui nécessite une année entière de formation sur le terrain. Ce savoir-faire technique risque de se perdre dans une logique mercantile avec la fermeture de plus en plus de stations techniques ces dix dernières années.
Nous préférons réparer plutôt que proposer la vente de produits aux consommateurs. Chez STARSAV, notre charte garantit pour l'ensemble de nos membres que la réparation est le cœur de métier et non un business-modèle factice pour la vente d’appareils électroménagers sous forme de bons d’achat.
