La passion de la réparation de père en fille
Ingrid Billon, propriétaire et gérante de la station technique TMV Services est une passionnée de son métier. 60 heures par semaine, elle étudie chaque dossier afin de préparer l’intervention des techniciens. Ingrid souhaite préserver les valeurs de la profession transmises par son père tout en regardant vers l’avenir, avec pourquoi pas, davantage de techniciennes...
Pourriez-vous décrire une journée type au sein de votre station technique ?
La journée commence pour tout le monde au bureau avec une réunion et la remise des plannings des techniciens. En amont, j’ai établi un premier diagnostic sur la base des éléments dans le dossier et éventuellement identifie les pièces nécessaires pour l’intervention. Le but étant de permettre au technicien de se focaliser uniquement sur la technique lors de l’intervention. Ils effectuent approximativement 160 interventions par semaine avec un pic d’activité dans la région de septembre à décembre. Si nécessaire, nous allons communiquer pendant l’intervention sur le prix d’une pièce pour établir un premier devis verbal.
Quelle est la valeur ajoutée de votre station technique ?
On préfère se concentrer sur ce que faisons le mieux, c’est-à-dire une sélection de marques agrées. L’avantage d’opter pour du volume dans une marque est la connaissance fine des pannes. En 20 ans nous avons accumulé un savoir-faire basé sur des retours de techniciens. L’intervention idéale se résume à une seule visite ce qui satisfait pleinement le client tout en assurant la rentabilité de notre société. Car, ce métier peut s’avérer difficile avec des marges très réduites. Il faut être avant tout passionné par la technique pour gérer une entreprise de réparation. Je suis très attachée à certaines valeurs transmises par ma famille. De père en fille, notre satisfaction tient à un travail honnête et de qualité. Car, notre rôle principal est de trouver des solutions et non pas de vendre des produits.
Quelle est votre vision du métier ?
Nous sommes souvent seuls à la tête de nos sociétés. C’est pourquoi le réseau StarSav représente un réel espace d’entraide et d’échange. Comme nous avons pu le constater récemment avec la réactivité du réseau pour faire face à la crise du COVID. La réparation est bien souvent une histoire de famille ce qui se ressent aussi au niveau des équipes avec des techniciens qui restent souvent 20 ans dans la même société. Chez nous, 33 ans est le record d’ancienneté. Toutefois, la profession doit se renouveler et se féminiser. La technique n’est pas réservée aux hommes. Je pense qu’en ouvrant davantage les portes du métier, notre image auprès du public sera davantage valorisé. Avis aux intéressé(e)s !
